GT2 Belts
GT2 belts are used to move the axles. The designation GT2 indicates the distance between the tops of the teeth. Furthermore, the GT2 straps differ in height.
6 mm high belts are usually used for 3D printers, but we also come across 9 or 10 mm high belts, which are more suitable for larger printers - they are stronger and less springy.
The choice of rollers and pulleys must also be adapted to the height of the belt.
Quality belts are reinforced with composite fibers that are strong but do not break during use like steel fibers. The surface of quality belts is also covered with fabric.
