Linear motion - trapezoidal rods
Linear motion using trapezoidal rods is based on the transformation of rotary motion into linear motion using bolts and nuts. These systems are commonly used in a variety of industrial applications, including machine tools and CNC equipment.

| 4mm (2 windings) | -one turn=shift by 4mm | |
| 8mm (4 windings) | -one turn = 8mm shift | |
