SSR Relay - SSR-40DA, 24-380VAC

Solid state relay module SSR-40DA

This relay is used in 3d printing as a heater pad heating controller if the pad uses a voltage greater than 24V.

Advantages of this relay:

• Silent - does not click
• It can handle up to 380V and 40A

Installation:

1. There are no terminals (+ and -) of the heating pad on the control board of the 3d printer.
2. Connect them with a cable to the terminals on the relay -> 4(-) and 5(+).
3. The heating plate / mat has two heating cables (phase(L) and neutral(N)).
4. Connect one of the cables directly to the neutral (N) of the 3d printer power source.
5. Connect the other cable to the relay terminal 1.
6. Connect the relay terminal 2 with a cable to the source phase (L).

This procedure can be applied to all applications where you need to switch AC current.
