For high filament flow applications More

Advantages of Bondtech CHT technology

Bondtech CHT nozzles divide the filament into 3 thinner fibers, which melts the material from the inside. As a result, the material melts faster and higher flow rates can be selected.

Benefits of nickel plating

A nickel coating is applied to the surface-treated brass nozzles, which protects against dirt, corrosion, erosion and abrasion.

Nickel-plated nozzles have higher corrosion resistance and a lower coefficient of friction, which allows for smoother material feeding and slows down the adhesion of plastic to the nozzle surface.

Key features

  • Higher melting capacity
  • Favourable price
  • Machine with ultra precision
  • Brass nozzle with nickel-plated finish

The video shows a duel between two 0.6mm nozzles on a Prusa MK3S with the Bondtech upgrade. On the left, a plain coated nozzle. On the right, a Bondtech CHT® nozzle. The model is sliced so that there is a slow increase in speed and flow from 17 to 26 mm^3/s. The same G-code is used for both print jobs. Both nozzles work well up to 19mm^3/s. Above this speed, the performance differences are clearly visible.
